- Black history month project-due Thursday February 23rd
- 50 point project
- You can choose to do the poster with a partner but you have to complete the writing component individually!
- Choose an option:
- -Option 1: Students find an inspirational quote/poem/lyrics and put it artistically on a poster. Student's will also write a TPEQEA paragraph about why it is meaningful to them.-Option 2: Students make a neat and interesting poster about a significant figure in Black History with key facts. Student's will also write a TPEQEA paragraph about why they think the person was significant.-Option 3: Students will make a poster about important legislation (or an important court case) for Civil Rights, and a TPEQEA paragraph explaining why it was important to them.-Option 4: Get approval from your teacher (potential choices: journal entry, a poster advocating for Black History Month or Civil Rights) - anything they choose will need a writing component.
